Infinite Mountains in the Atacama Desert

Photo: View from the portezuelo Maricunga - below the Santa Rosa Lagoon, at the bottom of the Tres Cruces Massif. The distance (straight line) to these hills is still 45 kilometers. The highest peak of the Tres Cruces massif reaches 6748 meters - then only 140 meters lower than the Ojos del Salado.
